Last night we were joined by a special visitor who has come to meet our little munchkin. She joined us on our tour of a special tower built to honor a famous local monk. We also visited a buddist temple which was very unsettling. Joy is doing well and only crying intermittently. She is allowing Dad to comfort her about half the time. We are so ready for our next stop which is Guangzhou and the American Embassy to obtain Joy's visa to come home. Honestly, we have found Nanning to be a bit boring and we are ready for a change in scenery. We leave in the early morning for Guangzhou and will be heading for home on Thursday the 23rd. We will be at the infamous White Swan hotel beginning tomorrow and hope to do some shopping while we are there.

I am confused.....who was the special visitor? Looks like things are going well. I sent out the blog to some others around MNC that might not have had it. I know the Fesler's have loved looking at it. So know we are all very excited for you on this end....
